Couple’s Beautiful ‘Born to Serve the Lord Cover Will Warm Your Heart

If you’re in the mood for a good folk tune, then this couple’s beautiful ‘Born to Serve the Lord’ cover will warm your heart. The song will give you a good feeling right down to your toes. Watch the video to hear the encouraging song.

In the video, the couple jumps in right away as they sing and play instruments together. Fittingly, they sit on a love seat in their living room as Dan plays the keyboard and harmonica while Amanda plays an acoustic guitar. They take turns singing and also harmonize together. The song they’ve picked is very homey and folksy—it makes you reflect on your faith while giving you a warm feeling. Some of the lyrics are:

My hands were made to help my neighbor
My eyes were made to read God's word
My feet were made to walk in His footsteps
My body is the temple of the Lord

It’s a very thoughtful song about dedicating one’s life to Jesus.

The couple shares other great-sounding music like this on their YouTube channel. Some of their covers include ‘At The Cross,’ ‘Amazing Grace,' 'Take My Hand, Precious Lord,' and many others. “Our goal is to bless and encourage others through simple gospel music,” the couple said of their purpose in sharing music with others.

‘Born to Serve The Lord’ is one of those deep songs that will certainly have you thinking about Christ as you listen to it. It’s a wonderful song choice, and Dan and Amanda do an amazing job covering it. You can tell from their faces that they earnestly believe the words they’re singing, which is wonderful to see!

“Whatsoever ye do, work heartily, as unto the Lord, and not unto men.” Colossians 3:23

Brother–Sister Duo Delivers Sweet ‘Goodness of God’ Performance

A brother-sister duo delivers a sweet ‘Goodness of God’ performance on a crowded street, and it’s so adorable to watch. Little 4-year-old Nicholas Protsenko sings and plays the piano all by himself as his big sister joins in. If you want to smile today, then watch this.

“This is my little brother, Nicholas,” Nicholas’s sister, 16-year-old Karolina Protsenko, introduces him to the crowd. “Please give it up for Nicholas; he’s only 4!”

It’s pretty rare to see a 4-year-old make it through a whole song, let alone play the piano at all. Nicholas is truly impressive as he plays and sings through the whole song with his sweet little voice. He displays tremendous talent. ‘Goodness of God’ is a lot harder to play than ‘Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star’ or other beginner tunes.

Nicholas sings half of the song all by himself before Karolina kneels next to him and joins in. As they sing together, many people crowd around and watch them in awe, clearly impressed by the little boy singing and playing piano.

‘Goodness of God’ is a touching and surprising song to hear on a busy street. Some of the lyrics of the song are:

'Cause all my life You have been faithful
And all my life You have been so, so good
With every breath that I am able
Oh, I will sing of the goodness of God

Each of the siblings is also a solo musician, and Karolina is an expert violinist and singer. It’s wonderful to see her sing and perform with her charming baby brother. As he grows, he can have confidence that his sister will be there to support and advise him in his musical endeavors—it’s so very touching.

“By experience you will see that the Lord is good; happy is the man who has faith in him.” Psalms 34:8

Lyric Video for Timeless Hymn ‘How Great Thou Art’

A lyric video has been released for the timeless hymn "How Great Thou Art." This is a beautiful and dazzling vocal performance of the hymn that is near and dear to the hearts of many. Watch the short but moving clip to listen to and view the lyric video for the beloved hymn.

Have you ever sat outside and looked up at the sky, gazed upon the moon and at what appears to be an infinite number of stars? Or what about the snow-capped peaks of the Rocky Mountain range or the vast, wide-open expanse of the Grand Canyon? Those jaw-dropping, awe-inspiring creations are almost too beautiful for words, hard to properly describe. They are hard to comprehend, even when viewing them in person. They are breathtakingly gorgeous, all of them.

The Rocky Mountains, the Grand Canyon, the night sky, and the oceans are all the products of a talented, loving artist, the great and powerful Creator. Through His son Jesus Christ, we have access to the One responsible for those creations, who hung the moon and stars in place.

In "How Great Thou Art," the songwriter, much like us today, is completely blown away by the Lord's beautiful creations, as the power and attention to detail are too much for the human mind to wrap its head around. Those familiar, recognizable, iconic lyrics perfectly and succinctly articulate and describe the sheer awe felt whenever gazing upon His creation.

"Then sings my soul
My Savior God to Thee
How great Thou art
How great Thou Art"

We serve a powerful and mighty God who not only created those eye-catching landmarks we all know and love, but He is still concerned about lives and hears our prayers and concerns, the Creator of the world.

Revelation 4:11 "Worthy art thou, our Lord and our God, to receive the glory and honor and the power: for thou didst create all things, and because of thy will they were, and were created."

Praise Team Delivers Powerful ‘Promise Keeper’ Performance

First Baptist Clarksville’s praise team delivers a powerful ‘Promise Keeper’ performance on the church’s stage in a new video on YouTube. As the whole team and choir sing and perform, you can see the joy in their countenances. Play the video to hear the sweet praise to God.

First Baptist Clarksville’s stage may be elaborate with lights, many people playing instruments, and a fully robed choir, but don’t let that distract you from the humble message of this wonderful song. The song is relatively new in corporate worship. It was initially released in 2020 and performed by Hope Darst. She wrote it with Ethan Hulse and Jonathan Smith. Some of the lyrics the team sings are:

You know the ending before the beginning
I know that You have worked all things out
I know, I know
You are a promise keeper

The worship team’s cover of the song is very different from Darst’s. They’ve made it their own with a more gentle flow and softer voices, but it sounds wonderful and is a great song to sing in a church assembly.

The song speaks of how we know we can trust God and that there is evidence of his goodness everywhere.

“This song was written as a declaration of who I believe God is: a promise keeper who never fails us,” Hope said. “If you’re like me, there have been many seasons where I’ve had to wrestle through this truth… [But] he always does what He says He’s going to do. It might not happen when I think it should happen or how I think it should happen, but God’s word always shows up.”

"Behold, today I am going the way of all the earth. You know in all your hearts and in all your souls that not one thing has failed of all the good things which Yahweh your God spoke concerning you. All have happened to you. Not one thing has failed of it.” Joshua 23:14
