What a powerful song that is part of Bethel Music's Kristene DiMarco’s new album titled The Field. The song was written by Kristene DiMarco, Kalley Heiligenthal, and Gable Price, and it is “a ballad reminding us why our God is different from the idols of this world. Unlike the other idols, our God knows sufferings and hurts deeply as Jesus was hung on that tree at Calvary.”

“‘Gravity’ is about feeling it all, the brutal along with the beautiful with a God who felt it all too," says Kristene DiMarco about the song.

Country superstar Reba McEntire cries out to the Lord with the powerful words of ‘Back To God.’ 

‘Back To God’ was the first single from Reba’s gospel album, ‘Sing It Now: Songs Of Faith & Hope.’ Co-written by Randy Houser and Dallas Davidson, this song lifts up God as the only solution to our world's troubles.

Reba McEntire has been a staple in the country music world for decades. With hits such as ‘Fancy’ and ‘I’m A Survivor,’ Reba has truly earned her name as the ‘Queen Of Country Music.’ Her classic songs and upbeat personality led to millions of fans all across the globe and there’s no sign of slowing down.

Today, Reba is at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee for a live performance of ‘Back To God.’

What an incredible performance! In this clip from the Hollywood Week Duets on American Idol, powerhouse singers Nicolina and Christian Guardino give a performance of 'The Prayer' that will leave you speechless.

They both sound amazing individually, and when they sing together, their harmonies are absolutely wonderful! They even got a standing ovation from the other singers in the audience as well as all three of the judges.

“We’re mesmerized at how you just play off of each other. It has all the makings of something so special,” said Lionel Richie after the performance.

Then Lionel Richie went on to talk about how the Hollywood Week Duets play out. There is usually one person that ends up staying and one person that is sent home.

“I can just make this very simple. When you have a duel, somebody gets shot. When you have voices of this power, it’s cut throat,” he said. “I think it’s quite obvious, you both cut through. You’re both going to the next round.”

Once both contestants realized that they both made it through to the next round, they cheer and embraced on stage, and the three judges also stood to their feet to give them a round of applause. What a beautiful moment!

With voices like that, we can’t wait to see how far Nicolina and Christian will go in this competition!

The song ‘Always There’ is part of The Belonging Co's latest album, Here. And it was inspired by Psalm 139. The song is a reminder that God is ever-present, regardless of the situation or even our awareness of Him.

The Voice Winner Todd Tilghman reminds us to enjoy each moment with the powerful words of ‘Slow Down.’

When we first met Todd, he was a nervous wreck standing in front of The Voice judges. But after hearing his blind audition of ‘We’ve Got The Night’ from Bob Seger & The Silver Bullet Band, there was absolutely no reason for all those nerves.

All four judges fought for Todd, but he ultimately chose to become a part of Team Blake.

As if his performances weren’t impressive enough, Todd revealed that he is actually a pastor with eight kids at home.

What an incredible worship performance! In the video, the Gaither Vocal Band is performing live at the Gaither Studios in Alexandria, IN. And they have a choir joining them from the side of the stage. All of the voices sound beautiful together, and their harmonies are just wonderful!

The popular worship song ‘Way Maker’ has become one of the biggest hits in the Christian music world, and it is by a Nigerian singer and songwriter known as Sinach. The song was inspired when Sinach was reading the passages in Genesis 12:1-5, which say:

“Go from your country, your people, and your father’s household to the land I will show you. I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you. I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing. I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse. And all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”

After The Belonging Co performed the song in this video, members Hope and Andrew shared a little bit about how the song came to be. Hope shared that Andrew had such a powerful idea for the chorus of ‘Come Alive (Resurrection Power)’ and how the group went from there.

“I think it just immediately sparked faith in all of us,” said Andrew. He played the chorus for The Belonging Co on the last day of a writing retreat for their church. Then they took the song to their congregation, and the song has sparked freedom and healing in their church.

“There are so many moments about this song that I love because it just speaks right to sickness, right to strongholds, right to anything that you’re facing,” Andrew said.

The song is one that “confidently proclaims life, even in the face of things that appear to be hopeless. It is the emphatic declaration of the resurrection power of Jesus Christ, and the authority of all believers to exert the power we've access to through faith in him.”

I wrote 'My Wings are Love' some years ago. It is my story. Its great to look back and see the hand of God upon our lives. It is also good to realise 'in the moment' that this life, amid the great back drop of eternity is very short, and in our brief time on earth, we will face trials and struggles. When we turn to Him, God loves and sustains us no matter what happens. Its good also that in Christ, we can rise above our trials as we press on toward our final goal. The Oak Ridges Boys praise His Holy Name with the beloved hymn, ‘Rock Of Ages.’ These lyrics are the perfect reminder to turn your eyes upon God and trust in Him to the lead the way.

The Oak Ridge Boys are known for their unique blend of country music and gospel. This iconic group consists of Duane Allen singing lead vocals, Joe Bonsall singing tenor, William Lee Golden with his baritone voice, and Richard Sterban singing deep bass. They all joined the group at different times, but this particular lineup of men have been together since 1973.

20-year-old Christian artist Anne Wilson shares a powerful message with her newest song, ‘God Thing.’ As you hear these words, remember that He is the God of miracles and there is nothing too big for our Lord.

It’s so obvious when He does His stuff, it’s not anyone else but Him

Rising artist Anne Wilson has taken the Christian music scene by storm this year. You may recognize Anne for her viral video performing “What A Beautiful Name” from Hillsong Worship. After she lost her brother in an automobile accident, Anne found comfort in the words.

She performed for the first time at her brother’s funeral. Since that life-changing moment, Anne continues to share her gift with the world.

During his life, he wrote over 800 songs, including ‘I'll Fly Away,’ ‘Turn Your Radio On,’ ‘If We Never Meet Again (This Side of Heaven),’ ‘I'll Meet You In The Morning,’ ‘Rank Strangers,’ and ‘He Set Me Free.’ In the hymn ‘Jesus, Hold My Hand,’ Albert’s conveys the message that Jesus is a friend and helper to us in our daily lives.

He’s considered country from his hat to his boots! Dakota Hayden is ‘Pure Country’ during his American Idol audition and you don’t want to miss it. Lionel Richie, Katy Perry, and Luke Bryan all believe he has real, raw, country talent even though he didn’t know the chorus of the song he chose all that well. 

Dakota then talked about where he gained his inspiration for his music career–his home. “I was raised in the country, my parents are country, basically everybody is country,” he said. Dakota grew up on a 36-acre farm near Fordsville, Kentucky a town of 500 people, which happens to be about two hours from Nashville. He says he was raised in the country and loves country music.

Despite his nervousness, he nailed his audition with an acoustic version of Luke Combs, “When It Rains, It Pours.” And at one point during the audition when Dakota turned his head, both Lionel and Katy were stunned by how close his facial features resemble Luke. They both thought he could pass for his son!

“You are pure country, and it’s believable as heck. I love your pureness. You’re an awe-shucks kind of guy, and it translates and even though you’re not Luke’s son, I’d like to kind of ... that’s what I’m thinking right now. Your attitude and personality kind of reminds me of my man down there,” Richie said. 

Katy added, “Wow,” Perry exclaimed before calling Hayden “raw,” “authentic” and “Top 10” material.” While Luke said, “I think you’re in the right place. Thank you for driving your butt down here from Fordsville, Ky. You are exactly what we want to find. Katy is right. I think you’re going to snip the Top 10.” 

Dakota received votes from all three judges or as Richie put it, “I’m a rootin’ tootin’ yes!” 

We can’t wait to cheer Dakota on as he moves forward toward his dreams and the next round of American Idol!

Michelle wrote Cling to Christ after going through a break-down and a time of depression. Michelle seen a vision of Jesus coming to her hospital bed. Jesus picked her up and she was safe. Michelle then collaborated two years later with Aaron Goodhew and the song was awakened to a congregational song. It is classed as a modern day hymn useful for church singing to draw people to cling to Christ.

There is nothing quite like good old rock n’ roll. Check out this classic clip of Elvis Presley singing “Are You Lonesome Tonight.” 

At the start of the song, Elvis is in his well-known leather jacket seated on a bench and strumming his guitar. The crowd cheers as he begins to sing. He cracks some jokes during his performance and the audience laughs. 

Elvis sings with such confidence and ease. His music is almost that of a lullaby in style. He makes faces and then says, “I wonder if you’re lonesome tonight” while he smiles and laughs at himself. He clearly is having a good time with those listening.

He sings with such passion and intensity. Elvis does a great job at sharing his heart through his music. He has a captivating personality and in this up close and personal moment with the crowd, he plays as if he is just hanging out in the living room at a friend’s house. If you ever wanted to see Elvis in raw and rare form of just him and his guitar, then this clip is for you.

Elvis addresses missing someone and loneliness. This is something that we can all face at times. Life can have broken relationships, isolation, and regrets. However, in Christ, we can have joy in the midst of sorrow and peace in the storm. 

As Elvis sings, remember that our emotions are real, but we are not rooted in them, we are rooted in the solid Rock, who is Christ Jesus.

Listen to the Cotton Pickin’ Kids’ version of ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ and try not tap along!

Is there anything more wholesome than a family band of talented kids? Not in my book! Now mix all of that talent with a bunch of bluegrass instruments and you have an amazing cover of a classic country song.

Savio (19), Thérèse (17), Cecilia (15), Rosalinda (13), Gianluca (12),  and Giovanni (11) put their hearts into every song they play, but this tune might be just a little bit sweeter for them. The siblings were born and raised in Alabama. I bet they’ve been playing this song since they were in diapers!

All of the band members have competed and placed in various music competitions across different states, but their talent always brings them back to their home sweet home of Alabama.

Lynard Skynard originally released ‘Sweet Home Alabama” in 1970. After a few years, the catchy song finally made the U.S. top 10 at number 8. Even though the band produced a bunch of great music, none of their other songs ever topped this classic southern song. And none of the writers even came from the beautiful state!

Of course, the state eventually adopted the song’s title as the state slogan and used it on its license plates and to promote tourism. Plenty of films have featured the extremely recognizable tune. It even inspired the romantic comedy, Sweet Home Alabama, released in the early 2000s.

You may even recognize a little bit of ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ in Kid Rock’s popular song, “All Summer Long.” That was done on purpose and properly accredited the original writers. The world just couldn’t get enough of those notes! 

And none of us can ever get tired of that catchy chorus.

Feel the grace of the Lord as The Detty Sisters sing the classic hymn ‘Just As I Am.’ These words are the perfect reminder that despite our sins and shortcomings, God accepts us just the way we are. 

“Dear Lord, I'm on my knees again

I've tried so hard, but I just can't change myself
That's why I know I need your help”

The Detty Sisters are comprised of four country cuties from southern Ohio. Peyton, Cadie, Lily and Sophia have all been singing worship songs since a very young age. Peyton and Cadie would sing in church and it eventually transformed into playing other venues and even releasing an album. 

On their website the family shares the beginning of the group., “The girls would sing and learn new songs all the time bringing people into worship and joy in their hearts. In August of 2018 the Lord called us to do something a little different and way out of our comfort zone. He said what we are doing at our church and in our home, I want you to share it with the world. That is exactly what we began to do.”

Today, the two oldest sisters are doing what they do best by leading us in worship with the beautiful words of ‘Just As I Am.’ 

Featured on their hymn album of the same name, this song is truly praise to His Holy Name.
