Billie Jo Jones Soul-Stirring Acoustic ‘How Great Thou Art’ Performance

I have to tell you about this video. I stumbled across it while sipping my coffee, thinking it would just be a sweet little background song — but then this country singer opened her mouth, and I nearly dropped my mug. You will love Billie Jo Jones’ soul-stirring acoustic ‘How Great Thou Art’ performance.

She’s standing in this humble studio — no big lights, no big fanfare, and certainly no crowds. Just Billie Jo, who was so petite you could tuck her in your pocket, and her friend quietly strumming a guitar. And the second she starts singing ‘How Great Thou Art,’ oh mercy. I got goosebumps. It’s like her whole soul leans into Jesus with every word.

Her voice isn’t just a sound — it’s a prayer-filled story wrapped in twang and tenderness. You can feel that she knows the One she’s singing to.

You can tell this is what she was made for. Billie Jo started singing before most kids even knew their ABCs. “I was putting on private concerts for my grandparents, who raised me in their living room when I was 4-5 years old,” she said. “They would sit and watch me for hours and clap for me after every song.”

And bless her heart, she wasn’t just humming lullabies. We’re talking Shania Twain, Dixie Chicks, Patsy Cline, and Loretta Lynn. She’s country through and through — but with her own grit and grace that makes it all feel brand new.

“Singing is the only thing I have ever wanted to do,” Billie Jo shared. “God didn’t give me this voice to just sit at home with it. I believe He gave me this voice and the courage to go out and play shows every weekend.”

And you know what? You see that courage in this video. You hear her heart for people, her deep-down belief that every note can carry hope. “Getting to share my voice and my story through my songs means EVERYTHING to me,” she said.

It’s no wonder I sat there teary-eyed, whispering the words with her: Then sings my soul, my Savior God, to Thee…

Because, oh friend — hers sure did.

“Sing to the Lord, all the earth; proclaim his salvation day after day.” 1 Chronicles 16:23

Michael W. Smith Talks New Single 'Arms Around The Sun' Featuring 'The Chosen’s' Jonathan Roumie

Michael W. Smith talks about his new single, ‘Arms Around The Sun’ featuring ‘The Chosen’s’ Jonathon Roumie. Sometimes a moment in music feels like joy you could bottle — and that’s precisely what happened when our favorite singer dropped his new single that will have you dancing. And get this: Jonathan Roumie, the guy who plays Jesus on ‘The Chosen,’ played drums on the track. Yes, you read that right — Jesus on the kit.

This whole collaboration wasn’t even planned. Jonathan posted on Instagram, “I couldn’t be more honored to get to play with the legend himself… This all happened kinda spontaneously (I maintain I was ‘tricked’ into this recording by Tedd and Michael 😂).” You can feel how much it meant to him, like a dream God kept tucked away until the right time.

Michael confirmed it, he said,  “He was a little nervous… We did probably three or four passes of it, and he just killed it. He just knocked it out of the park.”

You can hear the fun, the freedom, the fingerprints of Heaven in the beat. And what’s even more beautiful is that you can feel Michael’s heart behind it all. He’s not chasing charts or trying to fit in. “I write what I feel led to do,” he said. “It’s tempting — you want to compete — but you just can’t go there.” He cares deeply about his music, about the people who listen, and about what God thinks.

“It took 63 mixes to get the mix right,” Michael laughed, “but you know what, hey, if it was easy everybody would do it.” He added, “I listened to it this morning on my walk… just to make sure it still sounded as good as I thought it did.”

That kind of care? That kind of passion? It shows.

Watching Jonathan live out an old dream and seeing Michael light up like a kid with a new toy — it just feels like God smiling through melody. It’s not just another worship track; it’s an upbeat song with an 80s vibe. It’s an echo of something eternal, with arms wide open around the sun and the soul. And honestly? It’s worth hitting play more than once.

Praise and Worship Team Delivers Beautiful ‘Promise Keeper’ Cover

A praise and worship team delivered a beautiful cover of “Promise Keeper.” Their powerful cover of the song about God’s unending love and faithfulness deserves to be listened to multiple times. Watch the short but moving clip to hear the talented musicians perform “Promise Keeper.”

This world is a sad, lonely and broken place. It’s full of hurting and struggling individuals crying out for help. Most people are searching for something, anything, in which to place their trust and faith. They desperately want something or someone reliable in their lives who can always be counted on to be there regardless of the situation or circumstances.

Of course, there is one who can be counted on and who is always loving and faithful. No matter what we may be going through or facing, Jesus Christ remains by our side throughout the entire ordeal. In a clip posted on YouTube, a group of incredibly talented musicians, a church’s praise and worship team, covers “Promise Keeper.”

This song's beautiful lyrics provide the answer for a broken world full of people looking for someone to trust and place their faith in. The lyrics are moving, powerful and full of truth. They describe the faithful and loving nature of Jesus Christ.

“You are a promise keeper
Your word will never fail
My heart can trust You, Jesus
I won’t be overwhelmed”

What beautiful and powerful words!

Even when the path forward is muddled and unclear, we can never go wrong when trusting and relying upon Christ. In times of pain and uncertainty, He will guide, protect and direct. Again, He is always faithful and always has been. He has never let us down before, and there is no reason to believe that He ever will.

Hebrews 10:23 “Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; for he is faithful that promised.”

Stunning ‘Oh, How I Love Jesus’ Hymn Performance

One musician gave a stunning performance of “Oh, How I Love Jesus.” The woman gave a moving rendition of the beloved hymn. Check out the short and powerful clip to hear her “Oh, How I Love Jesus” rendition. It's a tune that is near and dear to the hearts of many.

The world is a lost and fallen place full of people who are also lost, hurting, struggling and crying out for help. Many may believe themselves to be stuck in impossible, hopeless situations. Sin has utterly destroyed and ruined this world and many lives as well. But no matter how great sin might be, God’s love and mercy will always be greater.

Christ can enter those hopeless, seemingly lost situations and inject hope and life. He can make a way even when it was thought to be none. He is the difference maker, and if not for Christ’s love, forgiveness and bloodshed on the cross, we’d still be lost. But how can you or do you adequately thank and praise Him for doing so much for you and me?

We can’t, but we can still offer words of worship and praise. That is exactly what one woman has done with her lovely rendition of “Oh, How I Love Jesus.” Although the song may be familiar to many, the sweet, beautiful words will always cause many to become emotional. The lyrics describe the life-changing and life-saving name of Jesus.

“There is a name I love to hear
I love to sing its worth
It sounds like music in my ear
The sweetest name on Earth”

Jesus's name has changed and is still transforming hearts and lives. His love, mercy, forgiveness and grace are available to all. He stands at the door and knocks, but before we can be forgiven, we must answer and let Him in.

Acts 4:12 “And in no other is there salvation: for there is no other name under heaven, given among men, through which we may have salvation.”

Couple’s Powerful Rendition of ‘Blessed Assurance’

A couple delivered a powerful rendition of “Blessed Assurance.” The beloved hymn's performance was chilling and moving, certainly worthy of being listened to multiple times. Watch the short clip of the couple’s soul-stirring performance of “Blessed Assurance.”

Contemporary Christian music will never top the old church hymns. That’s probably a controversial, polarizing statement, with many people likely to vehemently disagree with that conclusion. Yes, many churches have started to move away from the hymns. But everyone is entitled to their opinion, and that just happens to be mine.

To be clear, there are many fantastic modern contemporary songs from some truly talented artists. However, you cannot say with a straight face that any praise and worship song will ever top “Great is Thy Faithfulness,” “How Great Thou Art,” “How Firm a Foundation” or “Amazing Grace.” Those are classics and forever will be, regardless of how old they may be.

Another hymn that will never get old, no matter how many times you have heard it, is “Blessed Assurance.” In a clip posted on YouTube, a couple performs this excellent rendition of the iconic, beloved old church hymn. You’ll likely find yourself singing right along with them.

“This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long”

That familiar, beautifully written tune is about the certainty we can have in Jesus Christ. We can know beyond the shadow of a doubt that we have been forgiven and that heaven is our destination when our time on this Earth is over. That assurance is yet another blessing that comes from being a follower of Jesus Christ. His love and blessings know no bounds. Praise His name!

Colossians 3:16 “Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly in all wisdom; teaching and admonishing one another in psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, singing with grace in your hearts to the Lord.”

Chilling A Cappella Rendition of ‘Gentle Savior’ Wows

Have you listened to a chilling a cappella rendition of ‘Gentle Savior?’ It wows! Some songs don’t just wash over you—they reach deep, pressing into places only the Spirit knows. And when Sam Robson sings, it’s as if heaven itself bends low to listen.

His latest a cappella rendition of ‘Gentle Savior’ isn’t just music. It’s worship. It’s art. It’s the kind of sound that wraps around the soul like a sacred hush—the kind that makes you close your eyes because some moments aren’t meant to be seen, only felt.

Sam, the South London-born vocal virtuoso, weaves layer upon layer of harmonies, breaking the song into four different tones, stacking them like stained glass—each piece stunning on its own but breathtaking when seen as a whole. The result? A chilling hymn that sounds like a cathedral of voices, though it’s just one man pouring his heart into a song that has clearly shaped him.

And isn’t that what the best music does? It shapes us. It leads us home.

Sam himself says the song grew on him over time—an arrangement created years ago, left sitting in his collection until it called him back. And how right he was to answer. His voice, rich with depth, carries the weight of every lyric like a prayer.

And isn’t that life? So many of us are standing at the crossroads, hands trembling, hearts uncertain. But then that chorus rises like a gentle wind, reminding us who we follow:

"Gentle Savior, lead me on… Hold me close and keep me safe."

The comment section became a place of worship in its own right. One listener, overwhelmed by the raw beauty of Sam’s arrangement, wrote, "Sam Robson covering David Phelps? Oh my word, please do more of his stuff!"

Another turned his song into a personal prayer, "Lead me, Jesus! Show a rebel like me how to do Your will! Continue to extinguish my vain worldly desires. Strengthen my trust in You, Lord! May it be so."

And yet another simply declared, "All praise to the Lord and the gifts He gives us. All the glory goes to God."

Because that’s what happens when music is more than sound—it becomes a sanctuary.

I can’t begin to imagine the time, the talent, the unseen hours poured into making this one video. But perhaps that’s the beauty of worship—it’s not about being seen. It’s about offering something holy in the secret place, trusting that God will take it and make it more than we ever could.

And that’s exactly what Sam has done.

A voice lifted. A song restored. A Savior glorified.

Gentle Savior, lead us on.

"Whether you turn to the right or to the left, your ears will hear a voice behind you, saying, ‘This is the way; walk in it.’" Isaiah 30:21
