Chris Tomlin Moving Live Performance of 'Whom Shall I Fear (God Of Angel Armies)'

Legendary Christian musician Chris Tomlin turned in a moving live performance of his hit song “Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies).”

The world can be a dark, brutal and scary place. Most of the time, sadly, it’s not a kind or forgiving location. People can and do cruelly and needlessly inflict an incredible amount of emotional and physical pain upon one another.

However, no matter what horrible situation or circumstance we may encounter, Christians have no reason to fear evil. The Bible makes it clear in the Old Testament book of Isaiah that we are not to have any fear. God is our strength, and His right hand will be our support in any and every conflict or situation.

Chris imparts the idea and message that God is our strength and support in times of fear and great uncertainty in his song “Whom Shall I Fear (God of Angel Armies).” It’s also a song about having faith and trusting in the Lord, knowing that whatever happens, He will be right there going through it with us.

The song’s memorable, truth-filled and catchy chorus reminds us about the mighty and powerful God we serve.

“I know who goes before me

I know who stands behind

The God of angel armies

Is always by my side”

Anyone who has been alive for any significant amount of time knows life is not always pleasant. Unfortunately, we’ll all encounter excruciatingly painful and heartbreaking situations. It may even get to the point where we’re so overwhelmed and beaten down that giving up and throwing in the towel seems like the best course of action. But regardless of the circumstance, we can rest assured that the one true King is always by our side.

Isaiah 41:10 “Have no fear, for I am with you; do not be looking about in trouble, for I am your God; I will give you strength, yes, I will be your helper; yes, my true right hand will be your support.”

Chris Tomlin’s Powerful Live Performance of 'How Great Is Our God'

One of the biggest names in Christian music, Chris Tomlin, put on a powerful and moving live performance of “How Great is Our God.”

As anyone who has been alive for a significant amount of time understands, life is not always fun or fair. You will experience hardships, trials and trying circumstances. Everyone will experience times of great pain and sorrow; often, sadly, nothing can be done to avoid them.

There will be situations that absolutely push you to your breaking point. Those incidents will leave you beaten, broken and bruised. You might even start to wonder and question God’s whereabouts and role while in the middle of the pain and misery. But the Bible makes it clear that He will never leave or forsake us, especially during our time of need. His Word also states that, in all situations, He works for the good of those who love Him.

In the clip above, Chris gives a wonderfully moving live performance of “How Great is Our God.” It’s a tune likely many are familiar with, but it’s one that Christians can hold onto when going through one of life’s many dark valleys and storms.

The lyrics, especially those in the simple yet memorable chorus, remind us that we serve a mighty, powerful, loving God. He is capable of handling anything and everything that life throws at us. There is no problem or situation that we may encounter that is bigger than Him.

“How great is our God, sing with me

How great is our God, and all will see

How great, how great is our God”

Not only is He great and powerful, capable of much more than we could ever imagine, but He is faithful. You’ve likely already endured terrible, heartbreaking circumstances in the past, and He came through like He always does.

Psalm 28:7 “The Lord is my strength and my breastplate, my heart had faith in him, and I am helped; for this cause my heart is full of rapture, and I will give him praise in my song.”

Gaither Vocal Band's Stirring Rendition of 'You're the Lion of Judah'

This stunning performance of ‘You're the Lion of Judah’ by the Gaither Vocal band is an upbeat melody that is a prime example of what worshiping God looks like.

This YouTube video will have you raising your hands and singing along. The song is a memorable worship song that will remind you of who God is.

Along with the five vocalists, the band uses drums, a guitar, a piano, and a recorder. The song has a Celtic feel to it in some parts, which adds to the beauty of the performance.

The chorus is pretty powerful with the following lyrics,

“And the angels will cry: 'Hail the Lamb

Who was slain for the world, Rule in power.'

And the earth will reply: 'You shall reign

As the King of all kings

And the Lord of all lords.'”

Those in the comments really enjoyed the performance. One commenter says, “Thank God for the Gaither's music, it's always soothing, uplifting and encouraging. The lady playing the flute is awesome!” and another, “I love this song and your beautiful rendition of it. I don't think I have ever heard it before. Thank you GVB you are a blessing !!”

The Gaither Vocal Band is an American Southern Gospel vocal group which is named after Bill Gaither, the founder. The current band includes Reggie Smith, Wes Hampton, Bill Gaither, Todd Suttles, and Adam Crabb. The lineup has changed over the years, allowing different people to experience performing in the band.

The original band was formed backstage at a Gaither Trio concert. They sang ‘Your First Day in Heaven’ and released their debut album in 1981.

The band brings amazing music to the world. Each song and performance is a great reminder of how important worship music can be.

“To you, O God, do we give thanks, to you do we give thanks: for that your name is near your wondrous works declare.” - Psalms 75:1

Crowder And TobyMac Lyric Video For Powerful 'DASH' Song

Popular Christian music artists Crowder and TobyMac have joined forces for the powerful song “DASH,” and the official lyric video for the tune has been released.

Life is the most precious and delicate thing on Earth. Many things in this world can instantly end life. It is 100 percent a gift from God above, who decides who lives and dies. That’s precisely why it must be protected and cherished in every way possible.

Because life is so precious and fragile, it does not last forever. No one knows precisely how many years they’ve been allotted on this Earth, but we can all be assured that that time is limited. Therefore, we should all feel an obligation and a need to make the most of our time on Earth.

On every tombstone in every graveyard, there are two dates: the year someone was born and the year they passed away. In between those years is a dash. What happens between those years is entirely up to us. However, the Bible gives us detailed instructions on what we’re supposed to do, act and treat one another. After our time on Earth is done, we’ll all have to answer to God for what we did or didn’t do in those years. He’ll want to know how we used that dash in our lives.

That’s exactly what Crowder and TobyMac sing about in their song “DASH.” It’s a tune that helps us to focus on and reassess our desires, goals and ambitions. Are they for God and building up His kingdom, or are they selfish and self-centered?

“There’s a day we’re born, day we pass

In between, there’s just a dash

What on Earth am I doin’?

What on Earth and I doin’?”

Everyone has things they want to do and accomplish; that’s only human nature. But with limited time, do our goals and desires align with God’s? What are we chasing?

Psalm 90:12 “So give us knowledge of the number of our days, that we may get a heart of wisdom.”
