WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. (AP) — Carter Kieboom is getting a chance to earn the job as the starting third baseman for the Washington Nationals. It's one of the key stories of spring training for the reigning World Series champions as they look to find someone new at that spot after losing Anthony Rendon to the Angels in free agency. Kieboom is 22 and trying to learn a new position: He came through the minors as a shortstop after being a first-round draft pick in 2016. Kieboom has a lot to learn and he tries to keep track with a file of lessons in his phone's Notes app.
