Bill Bunkley opens this Friday edition with the latest on Hurricane Isaias, a Category 3 storm tracking toward the Florida Panhandle and Alabama border with expected landfall tonight. He covers wind speeds, life-threatening storm surge risks, evacuations, and preparation reminders for Central Florida listeners.

On a personal note, Bill celebrates completing his final radiation treatment at Moffitt Cancer Center for basal cell carcinoma. He reflects on the process, his decision not to ring the ceremonial bell, and expresses gratitude for listener prayers.

Additional topics include a call to support Donate Life Florida (drawing from his own bone marrow transplant experience) and concerns about the rising cost of producing the nickel, potential moves toward digital currency, and implications for privacy and freedom.

Dr. Ted Baehr (Movie Guide) reviews the heartwarming film Seniors and the investigative drama The Social Reckoning (about social media manipulation), plus articles on AI’s impact on student learning and Sylvester Stallone crediting divine guidance for writing Rocky.
