Bluegrass Family Band Performs 'Till The Rivers All Run Dry'

Take a step back in time at The Petersens perform a nostalgic rendition of ‘Till The Rivers All Run Dry.’

This 1975 song was a number one hit for singer-songwriter Don Williams. The country lyrics are a beautiful reminder of love and life in simpler times.

“'Till the rivers all run dry
'Till the sun falls from the sky
'Till life on earth is through
I'll be needing you”

The Petersens are a family band from Branson, Missouri. The band is composed of siblings Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne. Also included are mom Karen, and good friend Emmett Franz. This bluegrass ensemble has traveled all around the world sharing their musical talents, but you can normally find them at home in Branson.

For ten seasons, The Petersens have performed at the Little Opry Theatre in the Branson IMAX Entertainment Complex.

Today, they’re taking on a country classic with the iconic Don Williams tune, ‘Till The Rivers All Run Dry.’

“'Cause I'll need you
'Till the rivers all run dry
'Till the sun falls from the sky
'Till life on earth is through, I'll be needing you”

On YouTube, they spoke about the inspiration behind the song. “One of our favorite love songs! Our grandpa had a cassette mixed tape in his old red pickup truck and Don Williams' "Till the Rivers All Run Dry" was one of the songs we heard a lot in the rotation. It's a stunning melody and the harmonies from Katie and Matt make it a joy to sing.”

'Praise The Lord (Brighter The Morning)' Sean Curran Acoustic Performance

Check out this acoustic performance by Sean Curran of his song ‘Praise The Lord (Brighter The Morning)’.

“The darker the evening, the brighter the morning, out of the ashes, there’s resurrection
I feel it rising in me, how grave the torment, greater the freedom, fierce is the battle
Sweeter the victory, I feel it rising in me, praise the Lord, O my soul
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord, O my soul, praise the Lord”

What a powerful and beautiful song with such wonderful lyrics. And this acoustic performance of it is so great! With just a simple guitar, keyboard, and Sean’s vocals, the emotions of the song can really come through.

Sean goes on to talk about the song after he performs ‘Praise The Lord (Brighter The Morning)’.

“These verses have everything to do with the faithfulness of God, which produces faith in us,” he says. “And a lot of times that just looks like trust. It has to look like trust. Because once it looks like trust, we can be in any circumstance. We remember the promise. We remember the faithfulness. And if we zoom out far enough, we can start to piece the puzzle pieces together. The longer the journey, the more I remember moments of rescue, you know. That’s the kind of God we’re serving, we’re singing to.”

Sean also shares a devotional online that goes with this song.

“Death and Resurrection. You can’t have one without the other. But, the gospel inserts the most marvelous amendment to this vicious cycle. The death and resurrection of Jesus tells us that the worst possible outcome doesn’t have to be the final outcome. Death does not get the final say. Only Life has that power. That is God’s way; the cross proves it,” Sean writes.

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Praise The Lord (Brighter The Morning)’ by Sean Curran today!

Husband And Wife Perform 'Bridge Over Troubled Water' On Piano And Cello

Enjoy the beautiful sounds of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water’ from husband and wife, Brooklyn Duo.

This iconic song was released in 1969 by the popular duo Simon & Garfunkel. Over the years, many artists have lent their voices to this tune with notable performances from Elvis Presley, Aretha Franklin and Andrea Bocelli.

There is no doubt that this song has truly stood the test of time. Its combination of difficult notes and poignant lyrics make it a one powerful number to perform.

“When you're weary, feeling small
When tears are in your eyes, I'll dry them all
I'm on your side, oh, when times get rough and friends just can't be found
Like a bridge over troubled water I will lay me down”

Marnie and Patrick Laird are a talented husband and wife team with life-long musical roots. Both Marnie and Patrick are classically trained musicians who met while attending a Chamber Music Festival.

Over the years, they delighted the Internet with their classical crossovers such as ‘The Sound Of Silence’ and ‘Bohemian Rhapsody.’ Known by their stage name, Brooklyn Duo, these two have garnered millions of views across social media and the number keeps climbing.

Today, they’re taking on another classic with the nostalgic sounds of ‘Bridge Over Troubled Water.’

'Things Of Heaven' Red Rocks Worship Featuring Elyssa Smith

Listen to this beautiful worship song from Red Rocks Worship called ‘Things of Heaven’ that features Elyssa Smith.

“Something is coming, I feel the wind blowing with mystery, things unseen
The tides are now changing, I see the dawn breaking, it’s happening, the awakening
Come, Holy Spirit come, hover over us, Holy Spirit come, open the heavens
Fling wide the gates, unleash Your presence, pour out your grace, show me Your
glory
The power of Your love, cause even a glimpse is more than enough for me”

What an incredible song, and the music video is also creative and powerful. The soft lyrics are partnered well with the misty fog that is surrounding all of the vocalists and musicians as they are worshiping together.

“What an amazing, passion filled song. It's my new favorite,” comments one person on YouTube after watching the music video.

“What a beautiful, gentle, and pure voice Elyssa has!” writes another person online. “Elyssa and this anointed song lifted me into worship. God bless her and the Red Rock worship team.”

The song ‘Things of Heaven’ is part of a new six-song EP that Red Rocks Worship released called Things of Heaven (Where We Come From). The songs on the EP focus on “the here-and-now of the kingdom, reminding worshipers that if the presence of God is here, so is heaven.”

“These are songs for people to put in their toolbox,” shares original Red Rocks Worship member Tyler Roberts about the album. “These are tools for people to fight the enemy with. And these are songs to speak and to sing out and to experience the presence of the Lord when you don’t know what else to say, when you don’t really understand.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘Things of Heaven’ by Red Rocks Worship today and it was able to bring you some encouragement.

15-Year-Old Sings Powerful Rendition Of 'You Say' On The Voice

You have to watch this 15-year-old sing a powerful rendition of the song ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle on The Voice Kids.

“I keep fighting voices in my mind that say I'm not enough
Every single lie that tells me I will never measure up
Am I more than just the sum of every high and every low
Remind me once again just who I am because I need to know
Ooh-oh You say I am loved when I can't feel a thing, You say I am strong
When I think I am weak, and you say I am held when I am falling short
And when I don't belong, oh You say I am Yours, and I believe, oh I believe”

What an incredible voice! Carla is the 15-year-old singing in this video, and her voice is so powerful and full of so much emotion. She is very talented, and her performance blew the judges away.

For the song ‘You Say’ by Lauren Daigle, the lyrics hold a great message about how God sees us and how our identity is found in Him.

“This song for me was just a reminder of identity. It was a reminder that when I’m weak He is strong,” shared Lauren Daigel. “So how do I change that and bring that into my everyday life? When I feel inadequate how is it that there’s always these moments where I feel like God just steps in and supersedes my inadequacies. This entire song was so that every single night I would get up on stage and remind myself that this is the truth. Don’t get buried in confusion, in the waywardness, just remember to stay the course.”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to Carla’s beautiful rendition of this wonderful song today and her performance was able to bring a smile to your face!

'New Thing' Passion Acoustic Performance

Check out this acoustic performance of the song ‘New Thing’ by Passion.

“Oh God, we need a heart revival, we long for a soul awakening
A hope to wake us from our sleeping to see You resurrecting everything
Like the winter turns to spring, like the deserts turn to streams
You’re doing a new thing, You’re doing a new thing, like the rain on thirsty ground
Holy Spirit, pour it out, You’re doing a new thing, You’re doing a new thing”

What a beautiful song with a wonderful message. And the harmonies throughout are just lovely!

After the song, Melody and Patrick who are members of Passion shared about how the song ‘New Thing’ was created.

Patrick talks about how he was inspired by how in scripture it talks about spring and things being new. “I just kept being so excited about new life and spring,” he said.

Melody went on to talk about the scripture references that the song points to.

“We had been talking about this whole idea of God doing something new and bringing us forward from Isaiah 43 and 44 at our church,” she said. “The Israelites are looking around and all that they see is a desert. They see wilderness, they see bareness, and they’re just wondering ‘Where’s God? What’s happening? What’s going on?’ And that’s when God comes and says and he prophesizes ‘Behold, I am doing a new thing. I am making a way in the wilderness. I am making streams in the desert.’ And I think for all of us, coming out of 2020 and even 2021, it was just like, ‘I’m looking around and this is what I feel like I’m walking through. I feel like this is my life right now. And I need to believe that God is still here and God is still doing something and He’s doing a new thing.’”

We hope that you enjoyed listening to ‘New Thing’ by Passion today and it was able to bring you some encouragement.

Isaiah 43:19
Behold, I will do a new thing; now it shall spring forth; shall ye not know it? I will even make a way in the wilderness, and rivers in the desert.
