Today’s Ask the Dr. talk show was co-hosted by Dr. Michael Lange and Roger Schulman, and it was an outstanding broadcast from start to finish.
Dr. Lange and Roger reviewed multiple omega-3 studies, highlighting how higher baseline omega-3 blood levels are associated with significant reductions in heart attacks, strokes, atrial fibrillation, and overall cardiovascular risk. They emphasized that omega-3 status before disease develops plays a critical role in long-term outcomes. The newest studies prove that higher omega 3 levels in the blood reduces atrial fibrillation events. High quality, bioavailable rTG omega 3 taken daily is the key. Dr Lange is involved in continuous research in the omega 3 field and developed Fortifeye Super Omega and Fortifeye Super Omega 3 Max. These omega 3 fish oils are concentrated and purified in the top omega 3 research and development centers in Norway.
The show also covered a new and exciting study demonstrating that as little as 60 minutes of resistance training per week can reduce all-cause mortality by up to 27%, reinforcing the importance of strength training for longevity. However, he does sate you will have to do more weight training than 10 minutes a day to really build muscle and strength. He also states you must "pound the protein" to build muscle. Dr Lange and Roger spoke about long airplane trips and the risk of clots and DVTs from flying and being sedimentary while on the flight. They discussed ways to prevent clots and health issues while on the plane that may save your life.
During a live caller discussion, Dr. Lange explained the brain-supporting nutrients found in Fortifeye Focus and Fortifeye Focus & Brain, outlining how specific ingredients help support memory, cognition, and long-term brain health.
Several callers and Roger spoke warmly about Dr. Lange’s mother, Betty Lange, noting how remarkably sharp and “with it” she remains at 98 years young, serving as a real-world example of healthy aging.
Dr. Lange also briefly previewed a new kids’ gummy prototype currently in development, formulated with clinically studied amounts of lutein, astaxanthin, and zeaxanthin—designed to support eye and brain health in children without sacrificing quality or science.
Additionally, Dr. Lange explained the importance of using a high-quality rTG-form omega-3, how inferior products differ, and how consumers can determine whether their omega-3 supplement is truly effective. He always preaches to buy tg omega 3 or rTG omega 3 fish oil and stay away from the ethyl ester (ee) form on omega 3 fish oil.
The show ran smoothly with no technical issues, strong listener engagement, and excellent dialogue throughout—another successful and informative episode of Ask the Dr.
